Fingerprints in the Quran
Fingerprints are unique to each individual, and it was not until 1880 that Sir Francis Galton discovered this fact through the process of fingerprinting. However, the Quran had already mentioned the uniqueness of human fingerprints in chapter 75 verse 4, 1400 years ago.
In this verse, the non-believers asked how Allah Almighty would be able to reconstruct their bones on the Day of Judgment after their bones had disintegrated and they were buried. Allah replies that not only can He reconstruct their bones, but He can also put together the very tips of their fingers in perfect order.
This statement in the Quran is a clear indication of the uniqueness of human fingerprints, which was only discovered much later by science. It is amazing how the Quran mentioned this fact so long ago, showing the depth of knowledge and wisdom contained in the Quran and the power of Allah to create and recreate every aspect of our being.
Indeed, the Quran contains countless treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and it is important for us to reflect on its teachings and strive to live our lives in accordance with its principles. May Allah guide us all on the right path and grant us success in this life and the hereafter.
