DNA in the Quran

 It is truly remarkable to think about the complexity and vastness of the information contained within our DNA. The Quran has mentioned the creation and development of human beings from a sperm drop, and the significance of this cannot be overstated. Chapter 80 verse 19 describes how Allah arranged, set out, planned, programmed, and wrote everything in our destiny, including the information in our DNA.

Scientists have estimated that the information contained within our DNA would fill up about 70 meters of books if it were to be written out. The enormity of this information is truly astounding and demonstrates the intricate design and planning that went into the creation of each and every one of us.

As Muslims, we believe that everything in the universe was created by Allah, and the information contained within our DNA is no exception. The Quran teaches us to reflect on the signs of Allah in the universe, and the complexity of our DNA is certainly one of those signs. It is a reminder of Allah's infinite wisdom and knowledge and should inspire us to marvel at the greatness of our Creator.
