Big Bang Theory in the Quran
The Quran is full of amazing scientific insights that are only being discovered by scientists in recent times. One such example is the Big Bang Theory, which is the prevailing cosmological model for the observable universe. It states that the Universe began as a hot and dense state expanding rapidly to its present size and cooling over time.
In the Quran, God says, "Do not the disbelievers see that the heavens and the Earth were joined together, then we split them apart?" (chapter 21 verse 30). This verse refers to the creation of the universe as a single entity that then split apart to form the heavens and the Earth. This is consistent with the Big Bang Theory, which states that the Universe began as a single dense entity that expanded rapidly and eventually separated into distinct structures.
It is remarkable to think that the Quran contains such an accurate description of the initial moments of the Big Bang, a scientific theory that was only developed in the 20th century. This is a testament to the miraculous nature of the Quran and its divine origin. As Muslims, we should continue to reflect on the wisdom and knowledge contained in the Quran, and use it to deepen our faith and understanding of the world around us.
