A Few Quranic Scientific Miracles
The Quran is full of remarkable scientific miracles, some of which were only discovered by scientists much later. One such example is mentioned in chapter 51 verse 47, which states that "With power and skill did We construct the firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of space."
It is only recently that we have discovered the true vastness of space, and the Quran speaks of this in a clear and concise manner. Similarly, the Quran talks about the stages of human embryonic development, as mentioned in chapter 23 verse 12-14, long before modern science was able to describe it.
Another fascinating scientific miracle mentioned in the Quran is the concept of the "Big Bang." Chapter 21 verse 30 states that "Do not the unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before We clove them asunder?" This is a clear reference to the Big Bang, which scientists believe was the beginning of the universe.
The Quran also speaks about the water cycle and its importance for life on Earth. Chapter 39 verse 21 states that "Seest thou not that God sends down rain from the sky, and leads it through springs in the earth? Then He causes to grow, therewith, produce of various colours."
These are just a few examples of the many scientific miracles in the Quran. They show us that science and faith can complement each other, and that the Quran is a book of guidance not just for our spiritual lives, but for our physical and scientific understanding of the world as well.
